Mommy Confession...

My kids get dirty.  There. I said it.  I try to be a good mom - we wipe all visible body parts before scooting out the door, we often bathe multiple times a day.  But somehow, my kids wind up...dirty.
And truthfully, I care a lot more about my kids being clean than the way they get clean.  Again.  So we've gotten a little creative lately:

Hannah has designed her own personal spa,


and Linsey loves bubbles.


Get them splashing... 


get them dancing...


let them wipe themselves (bad idea)...


I don't care, as long as they're c-l-e-a-n!!


And as a bonus, aren't they so cute when they're all bundled up??

    so tremendously adorable! my kids need bathes every few hours too most days! i think they would like bath time much more if I let it be outside in a cooler! :) haha adorable!

Last week we had the most fun with the letter "P" for Hannah's preschool (I love it when there are activities all 3 girls can enjoy!) We've gone through the alphabet with a letter by letter emphasis, just to give some structure to our days and streamline activities. "P" is for...Penguins  We learned facts about penguins and made these adorable crafts, found here . (The only change we made was to use construction paper, since we had no paper plates on hand.) My First Giveaway!! Digital Scrapbooking Software

I have been tossing around the idea of doing a few giveaways and reviews for awhile, so when My Memories Suite emailed and asked me to host a giveaway for Amazon's #1 ranked digital scrapbooking software, I jumped at the chance! I love traditional scrapbooking. I've done several books of my own and some for friends, but having a lot of small children around and a lot of small (expensive) scrapbooking material is a bad combination, especially because I don't have a workroom to close off. Over the past few weeks, I've fallen in love with digital scrapbooking. Working Mom, Part I: Office Supplies

As you may know, I've recently transitioned from works-from-home(schooling) mom to full-time working mom who put all 3 of her kids in school for the first time within 2 weeks of each other. (I don't recommend that, by the way, it was mildly traumatic!) While I am pleased with how this transition has played out, and my husband seems happy with it as well, Linsey, who is 8 going on 35, is not as impressed with my office job. We were watching a reality TV show recently about people who worked in a cupcake bakery that were making a 1,000-cupcake replica of a Mardi Gras mask, when she quipped, "Wow, Mom, aren't you glad you don't have to do that kind of hard stuff at your work? All you have to do is type." And I immediately thought, Yeah, tell that to my boss!
