It's a Bird...?

It's a fruit, it's an egg - it's a FlaMANGO!! (Hannah's words) The girls made up this silly game where they were mama flamango birds and the mangoes were their eggs. This worked great until they got a little rough with one of the "babies" and smashed it, so we ate it, er..him :)

Other Hannah-isms:

"Help me! This shirt is right-side in!"
"I'm the garbage-ma'am, the pizza ma'am, etc..."
"Drinks don't live on the piano. They live on the table! And food don't live in the living room, it lives in the kitchen!" (important life lessons I've been instilling)

Last week we had the most fun with the letter "P" for Hannah's preschool (I love it when there are activities all 3 girls can enjoy!) We've gone through the alphabet with a letter by letter emphasis, just to give some structure to our days and streamline activities. "P" is for...Penguins  We learned facts about penguins and made these adorable crafts, found here . (The only change we made was to use construction paper, since we had no paper plates on hand.) My First Giveaway!! Digital Scrapbooking Software

I have been tossing around the idea of doing a few giveaways and reviews for awhile, so when My Memories Suite emailed and asked me to host a giveaway for Amazon's #1 ranked digital scrapbooking software, I jumped at the chance! I love traditional scrapbooking. I've done several books of my own and some for friends, but having a lot of small children around and a lot of small (expensive) scrapbooking material is a bad combination, especially because I don't have a workroom to close off. Working Mom, Part I: Office Supplies

As you may know, I've recently transitioned from works-from-home(schooling) mom to full-time working mom who put all 3 of her kids in school for the first time within 2 weeks of each other. (I don't recommend that, by the way, it was mildly traumatic!) While I am pleased with how this transition has played out, and my husband seems happy with it as well, Linsey, who is 8 going on 35, is not as impressed with my office job. We were watching a reality TV show recently about people who worked in a cupcake bakery that were making a 1,000-cupcake replica of a Mardi Gras mask, when she quipped, "Wow, Mom, aren't you glad you don't have to do that kind of hard stuff at your work?
